Americans Looking to Cap the Oilers in Tulsa
The Americans are coming off a 6-3 win over the Utah Grizzlies on Wednesday night, which ended a four-game losing streak. Alex Guptill recorded a hat trick on Wednesday, the second hat trick of the season for Allen.
Dalton Thrower returns to the Allen lineup tonight after serving his three-game suspension. With the return of Thrower, the Americans will have seven defensemen and nine forwards on the Tulsa trip. Mike Gunn has served three of his seven-game suspension, and is eligible to return in Fort Wayne next weekend.
Bryan Moore hit a milestone on Wednesday night, picking up his 100th and 101st career points. Mathieu Aubin enters tonight’s game against Tulsa, just one point away from his 500th career point.
The Americans are 4-2-2 against Tulsa this season. Allen won the last matchup 5-3 at Allen Event Center on December 23rd.
Casey Pierro-Zabotel leads the Americans in scoring against Tulsa this season with 12 points. Pierro-Zabotel is currently tied for the league lead in scoring with 41 points. Adam Pleskach leads Tulsa against Allen this year with 8 points.
